Dive Club
Ocean Divers runs a fun and friendly divers club, with free Club Dives, clean-up dives, club nights and dive travel trips.
You are welcome to join our Club Dives, whatever your certification level.
We do our best to help our club members to improve their skills whatever their level. Some divers are happy to cruise, shore dive under piers looking at fish, gather the odd scallop whilst some drive to Mount Gambier cave diving for a weekend or head out to the ship’s graveyard for some wreck diving adventures.
We run member pool dives where you can try out the latest equipment or practise your skills in a controlled environment.
We care deeply about the marine environment and run clean-up dives to remove marine debris from local dive sites. Upcoming clean-up dives are listed on our event calendar. We previously took part in Project AWARE’s Adopt a Dive Site program, looking after Flinders Pier and Rye Pier and carrying out many underwater debris surveys between 2013 and 2021.

Our club nights are a relaxed way to meet other divers and find new dive buddies. They may include guest speakers, trip reports or a look at the latest gear. See our event calendar for upcoming dates.
We are always keen to hear your ideas for a club night with a difference.
Our Club Dives, led by an instructor or divemaster, go to local sites such as Rye and Williamstown.
Over the years we have organised trips to interstate dive destinations such as Merimbula, Mount Gambier, Byron Bay, South West Rocks and Tasmania, and these have always been very popular. We also provide a variety of overseas trips to suit a wide range of tastes.
Cost per year (no joining fee): $80 single membership
How can you become a Club Member? Simply come into the shop and we can sign you up in store. You also receive a free 12-month membership when you complete our Open Water course.
