Specialty Course – Peak Performance Buoyancy
Introduction
Observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. Improve the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevate them to the next level. Learn how to hover whilst taking photographs or how to use a frog kick to achieve proper fining whilst diving on wrecks.
Description
The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course is to assist all divers in polishing their buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. The goal for training divers about buoyancy is to enhance their buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and skills practice.
Schedule
Wednesday – 6pm-9pm – theory review
Saturday – 2 shore dives
Prerequisites
PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver (or an equivalent rating with another training agency)
Minimum age 12 years old
Cost
$295.00
Includes: PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy manual and all tuition, 2 shore dives, use of tank & weights and PADI Certification upon successful completion
Requirements
Mask, snorkel, boots and fins
Exposure suit, hood, and gloves
Regulator system, including alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, computer & compass
BCD
Weight System
Diving tool or knife
Whistle
Slate with pencil
Log book
1 passport style photograph

You will receive your PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy manual, you required to complete the independent study, and fill out the knowledge reviews prior to the first session of the course.
