Go Professional – EFR Instructor
Introduction
Teach skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines and learn how to present course content while encouraging student self-discovery.
Course Content
Provided in the program are;
Gloves
Ventilation Barrier
Sterile pads, dressing, gauze
Use of manikins & an AED
To be certified as an Emergency First Response Instructor, an individual must meet the following requirements;
Complete the Self-Study Knowledge Review
Participate in all (7) required EFR Instructor Course presentations
Teach at least two primary & secondary care skills from the EFR program & Care for Children Program
Demonstrate role-model technique for all EFR program primary & secondary skills, & Care for Children skills
Successfully complete the EFR Instructor written examination
Prerequisites
Course duration is approximately 10-12 hours, and is conducted over two days.
Requirements
Renewed as a PADI Member for the current year
Have completed EFR Primary Care (CPR) or equivalent, as a student
Have completed EFR Secondary Care (First Aid) or equivalent as a student
Have completed EFR Care for Children or equivalent as a student
Cost
$850
