Specialty Course – Drysuit Diver
Introduction
Want to dive all year round in Melbourne even through our winter period and feel completely comfortable? Stay warm in the cooler months and enjoy the comfort of multiple divers over the summer months by experiencing the ease and enjoyment of diving dry! Anyone can drysuit dive, it just takes some training and some initial practice on shallow dives to get use to the drysuit.
Description
The aim of the Dry Suit Diver Course is to familiarise divers with skills, techniques, potential hazards and enjoyment of drysuit diving. The course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to drysuit diving.
Schedule
Saturday – 11am-4pm – theory review and pool dive
Saturday following – 2 shore dives
Prerequisites
PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating with another training agency)
Your own drysuit (please note we do not supply drysuits to use for the course).
Cost
$365.00
Includes: PADI Drysuit Diver Manual, all tuition, use of tank & weights, pool dive, two shore dives and PADI Digital Certification card upon successful completion.

Requirements
Drysuit
Complete SCUBA unit including alternate air source, SPG, computer & compass
Dive knife
Mask, snorkel, boots, fins, hood, gloves
Safety sausage or SMB & spool
Slate and pencil
Logbook
1 passport style photograph

A $150.00 deposit is required.
You will receive your PADI Drysuit manual, you required to complete the independent study, and fill out the knowledge reviews prior to the first session of the course.
