PADI Instructor Examination

After successfully completing an OWSI program, or an entire IDC an Instructor candidate is eligible to participate in a PADI IE, as long as the candidate has documentation of at least 100 logged dives including experience in deep, night and navigation diving.

The purpose of an IE is to evaluate if an Instructor candidate's knowledge and skills are sufficient to earn the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification. The IE is an evaluative program that tests the teaching ability, dive theory knowledge, water skill level, understanding of the PADI system and the candidate's attitude & professionalism.

Cost of the IE is $825.00 and is paid directly to PADI at commencement of the program.
