Sidemount Diver

The sidemount course is an entry level pathway suitable for anyone with an Open Water Certification or above. Many divers take the view that sidemount diving is just slinging on cylinders and going for a swim. This is very much not the case. Sidemount diving requires proper rigging of cylinders, correct regulator configurations, proper weighting and a skill set for dealing with emergencies and dealing with having tanks at your side. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back.
